Hi, I'm interested in your basic ballet class as I have no previous dance experience and noticed that there are no basic classes scheduled in the calendar. Will you still be having the Friday 5pm basic class shown in your class schedule section?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi, thanks for contacting us!
DeleteUnfortunately, the 5 PM basic class on Fridays is on hold until further notice; however, you are more than welcome to join the Beginner Ballet class. We often have absolute beginners with no previous dance background take this class--in fact, there were two people that started just two weeks ago and they had a lot of fun. I encourage you to come join us, we're very friendly and non-judgemental :).
Hi, I'm a current student interested in your beginner ballet class. For the first class, do I simply show up on a Sunday and how does payment work?
ReplyDeleteHi Suchita! Yes, drop-in attendance is always welcome :). Payment is made to us (you can either pay in cash or check to the instructor) directly. You can see our current prices by going to our 'Class Schedule and Fees' link.
DeleteHi, I'm interested in joining the beginning class and was wondering if it would be a good time to start this upcoming Sunday? Or if I should wait? Also how does payment work?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Hi Michelle! Yes, you can start any time. You can pay us directly either via check or cash when you come to class. Hope to see you on Sunday!
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Hayon, and I am contacting you on behalf of our client at Saeshe.
We represent the city of Pasadena and the Flintridge Art Center in Pasadena on the non-profit organization to provide homes for the homeless. We are implementing a parking meter donation program that will launch this spring all over Pasadena.
Right now, we are hoping to put together a 30 second TV commercial to air as a PSA on local cable TV and theater screens. One concept includes a dance production segment to promote the campaign as fun, positive and entertaining. Since it is very local, we wanted to include a local dance company to increase community involvement.
It would be so great if your dance company could partner with us for this project.
Since it is a non-profit program, we have a limited budget.
Please let us know your rate and availability and interest!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks,
Hayon Chun

Hi!
ReplyDeleteCan a high school student join your beginning class? Thank you!
Hi there! I would love to join your mailing list but I'm getting a 403 error message when I try to access it, along with this message: "You don't have permission to access /listinfo/balletclub on this server." Is there another way to join? Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteA Ballerina's Tale - the Incredible Rise of Misty Copeland - a new documentary opens in Pasadena October 23 at the Playhouse 7.
ReplyDeleteIconic ballerina Misty Copeland made history when she became the first African-American woman to be named principal dancer of the legendary American Ballet Theater.
Get the incredible, behind-the-scenes story of how she overcame a tumultuous upbringing and near career-ending injuries to become one of the most revered dancers of her generation. More than just a ballet success story, Copeland’s journey is a hugely inspirational, universal tale of perseverance.
