Class Schedule and Fees

Our classes are open to all Caltech students, faculty, staff, and affiliates, as well as the general public. Drop-in attendance is welcome. All classes are free for Caltech graduate and undergraduate students.

Fundamentals of Ballet (new class!)

Always wanted to dance but never danced a step in your life? This class is for you! This 90-minute class is intended for complete beginners and will introduce you to basic ballet technique. Full barre is taught at the basic level and simple steps are introduced in the centre. 

Advancing Ballet Technique

This class is intended for those with previous dance experience, including beginners who are familiar with basic ballet technique as well as more advanced dancers. In this 90-minute class, more advanced exercises are taught at the barre and longer combinations are given in the centre.

Class Schedule and Fees

All classes are held on Sundays in the Multipurpose Room of Braun Gym on the Caltech campus. The gym is located on the east side of S Wilson Ave, south of E California Blvd.


Fundamentals of Ballet: 

10:00 am - 11:30 am    $6/class (free for students)

Advancing Ballet Technique:

11:30 am - 1:00 pm    $6/class (free for students)

Note that all non-gym members must pay the $10 daily gym fee at the front entrance in addition to the class fee. We apologize for any inconvenience!
